You will gain a thorough understanding of the check clearing system and why MICR technology continues to be so effective. You will also learn about paper considerations, examples of MICR-encoded documents, and how and where they are used. Session B discusses document security design features, due diligence and reasonable care, and techniques to reduce counterfeiting and forgeries.
