In Session A emphasis is on MICR technology and how it is used on checks and other MICR-encoded documents. You will gain a thorough understanding of the check clearing system and why MICR technology continues to be so effective. You will also learn about paper considerations, examples of MICR-encoded documents, and how and where they are used. Session B discusses document security design features, due diligence and reasonable care, and techniques to reduce counterfeiting and forgeries.

Dick has over twenty-five years of sales, marketing and senior management expertise. In addition to being an author and instructor, he speaks regularly on industry-related subjects. Dick specializes in document security issues involving businesses and MICR technology. He uses his expertise as an FBI-trained forgery analyst to advise businesses on ways to reduce exposure to forgeries.
